Fun Facts about April Fool's Day

Also known as All Fool's Day.  In some countries such as the United Kingdoms, Australia and South Africa, the jokes only last until noon and someone who plays a trick after noon is called an April Fool.

Ancient cultures including the Romans and the Hindus celebrated New Year's Day on April 1.  April Fool is known as "Poisson d'Avril" in France.  Translated the world means "April Fish".  Children will paste pictures of fish onto the back of their friends and shout "Possion d'Avril".
